Abba-Zaba in Half Baked (1998) Abba-Zaba is an old time classic that regained popularity after a big screen appearance in the movie Half Baked. Early in the movie, Thurgood Jenkins (Dave Chappelle) reminisces having munchies as a youth and going to the store to purchase snacks. The scene shows a young Thurgood eating a giant sized Abba-Zaba while in a quick mart filled with super sized snacks on the shelves, including Rocky Road and Lay's chips. In a later scene, Thurgood states "Abba-Zaba, you my only friend." prior to eating the very chewy candy bar. |
