Fujiya - Milky (Japan) I didn't know what to expect in the box, but I did hear some rustling when it was shaken so I knew it contained individually packaged candy. I opened the box to find that Milky was small orb shaped white taffy. Very hard and chewy, the taffy had a vanilla flavor and had to be eaten with care (it can easily pull out some teeth). With a very nice and smooth vanilla flavor, this was great as a sucking candy. In most American China-towns you can find a similar vanilla taffy called White Rabbit. White Rabbit has an inner edible rice paper wrapper and is a much softer chew than Milky (I like it much better too). Watch those fillings! Company website: www.k-fujiya.jp |
