Meiji - Poifull (Japan) In Tokyo there are many gaming parlors with machines that award candy and toys as prizes. At one spot, the sweeper game machines are stocked with the alluring large-sized Japanese Aeros and KitKats, along with many other small obstacle sweets. After many tries, and hundreds of yen (don't worry, only a few dollars), I walked away with many small items including the Kinako KitKat and this Poifull. Poifull is a simple jellybean made by Meiji. The tropical flavors provide a nice fruity sweetness that balances well with the soft shells and chewy centers. Poifull would be a great replacement for the cheap, poor-tasting jellybeans often placed in Easter baskets. Company website: www.meiji.co.jp |
