Tochoco - Chocolate Puffed Rice Bar (Japan) The red metallic wrapper gave me a hint that this wasn't going to be a great candy bar. The packaging reminded me of the low-quality chocolates that can be found in a typical USA neighborhood pharmacy. While many candy bars have crispy rice, malt puffs or corn flakes, this chocolate bar was loaded with puffed rice. The mild waxy milk chocolate was mixed densely with puffed rice, which made up more than 75% of the treat. This candy bar would have tasted much better if it was made with good chocolate. |
